Ember Oak is a directory of real, operating wedding venues in the Charleston, South Carolina area. Every venue here is one we can point to on the ground, described in our own words, and sorted by what a wedding there is actually like rather than by who paid.
Listings are researched and fact-checked against multiple sources, and each write-up is original. Where a detail is our read rather than the venue’s own published word, we say so. If a venue spots something wrong, one email fixes it.
Listing is free and stays free. Venues can send their real capacity, setting, and booking policy and we publish exactly that. We would rather run a shorter, honest directory than a long one padded with places that do not host weddings.
